  •  Brooks–Sumner Affair, May 22, 1856 
  • Gentlemen of this nation we've come together today to discuss a growing issue the Kansas-Nebraska act. 
  • Slavery is a superior way of living far better than the north's
  • By adding a new slave state to the union you have turned our nation and government into a slave power which no other nations are fond of.
  • With that being said, Andrew Butler, you are terrible ruining our nation, you cannot open your mouth, but out there flies a blunder.
  • How dare you insult my kinsman
  • Sighs*  even in the glorious floors of the US Senate violence due to slavery is still prevalent, this just shows how slavery is still a huge issue.
