  • Discrimination against females in jobs have been around in the United States forever.
  • People being interviewed for jobs are also discriminated by their race and how they dress.
  • you are the man for the job
  • Barak Obama is the first African American president.
  • Today we have seen both minority groups and women progress in politics.
  • Hillary Clinton was the first woman to run for president.
  • Many women, minority groups, and members of the lower class experience more discrimination than any other group
  • women have certain jobs and activities that are labeled specifically for them.
  • The stereotype activities are cleaning, cooking, and caring.
  • Some "Female Jobs" include being a nanny, nurse, or maid.
  • Each day discrimination becomes less and less encountering. One day there might be equality among all races and sexes.
  • This information was gathered from my class notes and sociology book.
