  • I am the emperor of Rome. Felix, my servant, and Octavius will compete as gladiators.
  • The emperor declares that his servant, Felix, will fight Octavius.
  • Octavius-->
  • Surely he won't have me killed if I lose.
  • May the gladiator battle begin!
  • The gladiator battle begins. Felix thinks to himself.
  • Octavius throws the spear at Felix, who is unable to defend himself.
  • Felix doesn't die. However, he has lost the battle to Octavius.
  • But emperor, I have been a loyal servant.
  • As the emperor, I declare that Felix will be exectued!
  • The emperor chooses for his servant to be killed. 
  • You have betrayed me, emperor!
  • The soldier executes Felix, as commanded.
