  • One day, Apollo and his half-siblings Athena and Hermes took a luncheon in the grass together. Apollo shared with them his new musical composition, A lament to Daphine. Until Athena said that she can create a better instrument that will sound better than His Lyre.

  • Marsyas I am here to make a deal with you, The winner of this competition can do as they like with the loser how does that sound?

  • When Athena brought the Autos to her lips...there was no sound, She tried again but nothing worked, Discouraged by Apollos and Hermes laughter Athena threw away the Aulos.

  • while walking behind a group of people one satyr, Named Marsyas found Aulos, It would have been better for the poor Marsyas to never notice Aulos. The first note that Marsyas played caught everyones attention and faced Marsyas everyone started dancing to the song he played.

  • while playing Aulos Marsyas said that he was the greatest musician even greater than Apollo, Every one was quiet and turned to face the new arrival Apollo.

  • Apollo started playing his Lyre and the whole crowd was watching and listening to the sorrowful sound of Apollo's Lyre. It was then Marsya's when he started playing his twin flute the whole crowd started dancing. This kept going on and off until the whole crstarted crying.
  • Apollo won the bet and chosed to skin Masryas alive. Apollo bound him to a tree his creams replacing the music. Apollo hung his skin was hung over the entrance of a nearby cave this was a warning for those who make arrogant presumptions.
