Will thought he heard something from downstairs whilst doing his homework. It was late on a cold October night. He swore he had heard something from the kitchen, “Maybe something slipped off the table” he said nervously. But then, he started to smell something, something bloody that he has never smelt before. His parents were both on business trips, “How could someone be in the house?” he thought to himself. He decided to walk down the stairs and to see what was going on, he made it to the kitchen to see nothing, the kitchen was spotless. He .didn't think much of it and went back upstairs but when he was heading up he hears a knock on the door.
He was too scared to go straight up to the door so slowly crept toward it step by step, “Who-o-oo-o’s the-e-ee-re?” he said shakingly. Right when the frightened words came out of his mouth the knocking stopped. He thought it was some dumb kids ding-dong ditching late at night. So went back upstairs to his homework, he finished his essay and went straight to bed. At about 3:00 AM he was awoken by some watery substance dripping down his forehead he turned on the light to see what it was. When he rubbed his hand on his forehead it was covered in dark red blood. He jumped out of bed and ran out the house he ran all the way around the block when he saw something in the corner of his eye. He turned around to see a clown holding a bunch of balloons looking straight at him he was frozen with fear the clown started running and running and Will ran for his life
He cut through a few backyards and parks to finally make it home he ran into his room and locked the door. He was lying on his bed to hear a loud POP! Exactly like a balloon he heard then heard the clown’s voice, “Come out Will, come come out wherever you are!” He said with a high pitched voice. Will didn’t want to take his eyes off it in fear it might move without him knowing, he was even scared to blink. He felt a sneeze coming on, he tried to resist it but couldn't he looked back up in an instant and the clown was gone. He heard footsteps creeping up the stairs and barricaded the door with anything he could find. The clown didn’t try to break the door open but simply stood outside of it waiting for him to come out. Will found his old catcher gear from his baseball days and built up the courage to go out there. He opened the door to see nothing, he then felt breathing on the back of his neck. “Yessssss I finally got you,” he said with his raspy voice.
