  • Title-Going to be talking about either the fruit or the color ORANGE Paraphrase-On a cold winter day a boy with two oranges and a nickel picks his girlfriend up from her house and they walk around town and into the drug store where she chose to buy a chocolate from the candy section which was 10 cents. The boy pays with a nickel and an orange and the cashier takes it because she doesn want him to be embarrased in front of his girlfriend so they walk home and she eats her chocolate and he eats his orange and the the date was over and all turned out ok.

  • This poem has a very happy attitude because hes thinking about his first ever date with his girlfriend which was when he was only twelve years old

  • 1. From being by himself to being with his girlfriend walking down the street. 2.Whenever they enter the Drugstore. 3.When they start to eat their food.
  • Relationships can be awkward at first especially when you are young so you need to give everything you can to satisfy the other one in the relationship. Even the small tings as well because those could be the best things in the long run.
  • The orange could be a sign of warmth considering the last line says ¨I was making a fire in my hand¨. This could show the love/warmth he has towards the girl.
