The Spirit of Christmas Past

The second spirit came to Scrooge. Scrooge thought it was Fezziwig, it was not. The spirit told Scrooge ¨You will see what you see, Scrooge, no more.¨
Scrooge and the Second Spirit went on a walk in town. The Spirit showed him the Cratchit´s house. Mrs. Cratchit was talking very poorly of Scrooge. Bob Cratchit was defending Scrooge.
Scrooge asked the Spirit if Tiny Tim would be okay, but Tiny Tim was very ill. Scrooge once said ¨If he be like to die, he had better do it an decrease the surplus population¨ The Spirit told Scrooge not to judge.
Scrooge asks the Spirit if there is any happiness in Christmas present. The Spirit said it is at the home of his nephew Fred. Scrooge refuses to go.
The Spirit stops to talk to the beggar children. Scrooge feels bad for them. He asked the spirit if they had refuge or resources. But the spirit quoted what Scrooge said before to homeless people. ¨Are there no prisons? Are there no workhouses?¨
Scrooge learns that he has his own words to learn from. He does not need a teacher.
