Course Kirsten! But quick question, what’s acid rain?
Hey Asher, can I practice my acid rain speech on you? I have to have it memorized for chemistry with Ms. Spiczynski for Thursday.
Kirsten: It has a really bad effect on the environment and can even be dangerous to humans! The worst part is while it’s a normal aspect of nature, due to the incline in burning of fossil fuels, the number of acidic rainfalls has increased each year! Scary huh?
Kirsten: Great question! Acid rain is essentially a form of precipitation that has a lower pH level, making it more acidic than normal rain water.
Acid rain changes the pH levels of water bodies
I have a low potential of learning!
WOW I never knew any of that! I guess you could say my pL levels are acidic
