Storyboard Text

  • Prologue
  • Antigone is burying her brother without the people knowing
  • Scene I
  • Whoever buries Polynesius shall face my wrath and meet his doom
  • Scene II
  • I do. I deny nothing
  • Did you bury your brother? Even after I warned you not to. You dare defy me?
  • Antigone decides to bury her brother Polynecius as the king declares that he shall receive no burial because he's an 'enemy of the state'
  • Scene III
  • The public believes you shouldn't kill Antigone and she's being commended as a hero so why should you kill her?
  • King Creon gives a speech in front of the senates and declares that whoever buries Polynecius will be killed and that he values the public welfare more than friends and family.
  • Scene IV
  • They bring Antigone before the king to be questioned about her involvance with the burial of her brother and she denied nothing and was proud of what she did
  • Scene V
  • Haemon tried to reason with his dad ultimately though his dad went through with his decision. Meanwhile Antigone was in a jail cell awaiting what will happen.
  • Because my word is the final word son.
  • Creon is annoyed that Antigone is giving a speech to postpone her inevitable death and so he sends her away.
  • Come on Antigone let's go.
  • Take her away! Now!
  • Antigone hangs herself then Haemon commits suicide and his mother follows suit. His father Creon then realizes he made the wrong decision and wishes his family was back.
