I am the greatest humanist just like Davinci!
Erasmus, Was He A Humanist?
Desiderius Erasmus was the great Dutch priest. He called for a translation of the bible into vernacular. He thought an individuals chief duties were to be open minded and good to others. He was disturbed by corruption in the church and called a reform as a priest.
I, Desiderius Erasmus, am a great humanist. I spread the word of open-mindedness and to be a good person. I spent my days disturbing corruption and taking people away from they're own medieval ways, bringing them new thoughts and actions.
Erasmus was a humanist. A humanist is someone who brought color and creativity to the Renaissance. They don't just think of the "social norm", they think they're own thoughts and create new things. Desiderius wanted to take people away from their medieval ways and give them their own opinion. This makes him a humanist.
