The Seljuk Turks made a new Muslim dynasty who conquered a lot of land, which alerted the Christians, and was a factor in the crusades.
This treaty is peace between King Saladin's kingdom and the land of King Richard
The First Crusade which ended with Jerusalem being "taken back" by the crusaders in July 1099. So the crusaders were the "winner" in this battle.
The second crusade happened when Muslims took Edessa, and the Christians wanted it, so two armies attacked, but both failed. The Muslims were the winners in this battle.
Saladin conquered a lot of land including Palestine, which led to Richard the Lionheart to capture this back. Each army was weakened, so they signed a peace treaty in 1192. So this was a tie.
King Richard the first was king of England, who led the third crusade, which ended in a peace treaty with Palestine captured, so it was mildly succesful.
All hail King Richard!
None of the future crusades had any success, including the "Children's Crusade" which led to thousands of peasant children marching, which led to most of them being sold to slavery.
