  • In ARTIS, this is when Ruth and her husband, Walter argue about Walters dream investing in a liquor store.
  • ACT 2
  • I want you to take this money and take three thousand dollars for Benetha's schooling.(Hansberry 107)
  • In ARTIS, this is when Walter Lee is trying to persuade his mom to give him the insurance money so that he can invest in the liquor store. Ruth and Beneatha stand by Mama and emphasize to Walter that the money is entitled to Mama and she will decided and do what she wants with the money.

  • In ARTIS, this is when Mama feels bad about not supporting Walter's dream in opening up a liquor store. In result she gives him sixty-five thousand dollars left over from the money. She tells him put aside 3,000 dollars for Beneatha's schooling.
  • In ARTIS, this is when Beneatha feels upset and uncertain about her future because Walter got the insurance money stolen my Willie Harris. Asagi comes over and asks Beneatha a challenging question.
  • In ARTIS, this is when the family deicides to move to Clybourne Park to start a new life for themselves and the new baby.
