In the book z for Zachariah, Robert C. O'Brien uses characters to create the theme not everyone is as nice as the seem. One example of how he creates the theme is how Ann runs from Mr. Loomis ,and how she shots him. This is an example of how he developed the theme because she wouldn't shot ,or run from a nice person. Another example of how he creates our theme is when Mr. Loomis tries to rape Ann. This example creates theme because if Mr. Loomis was how she thought he was he wouldn't try to rape her. These examples help create the theme not every one is as nice as they seem because Mr.Loomis tries to hurt Ann. Robert O'Brien creates theme in z for Zachariah by using Mr. Loomis's character to show that not everyone is as nice as they seem.
Ann runs from her room to the cave and lives there for a while. She does not sleep but just waits. PG-180
Ann's running from Mr. Loomis,Faro runs and swims in the radioactive creek, and Ann shots Mr. Loomis.
Faro is growling because Mr. Loomis is in the room as Ann is sleeping he plans to rape her. PG-174-175
