Storyboard Description

Even after the case of Brown vs. Board of Education there was still a lot of racism in schools. In the movie Hairspray the students were not allowed to dance in schools, and especially not the African Americans because they were viewed as "dangerous" and could potentially influence white children with their corrupt ways. In the movie there was a scenece where there was a TV show and the African Americans could dance, but on a certain day in a certain area that was roped off to prevent intermingling.
