Since the 1900's , segregation has been a problem.
In 1955, Rosa Parks was arrested for ignoring the segregation laws and sitting in the seat she had chosen. After her arrest, Rosa and the city of Montgomery had a 381 day boycott against the segregation laws on public buses.
In 1956, segregation in Alabama was ended by Rosa Parks & Martin Luther King Jr.

In other countries, racism and segregation is a major problem. Even here, racism is still happening.
