  • In a kingdom far, far away, lived a semi-barbaric king who enjoyed poetic justice. In the amphitheater was where criminals were punished or rewarded. The criminal would have to open one of two doors, not knowing from which door would come out a tiger, or a beautiful lady.
  • Climax
  • The king had a daughter, he loved her more than anything else including his subjects and kingdom. His daughter had a secret lover and he was a peasant.
  • Falling Action
  • The king was furious when he found out that a peasant had loved his daughter. He searched for the savagest tiger in the land.
  • Resolution
  • The young man had to face a trial and be determined if he was guilty or not. He had to choose to open one of two doors, behind one door is the fairest lady of the land. Behind the other was a tiger who would eat the man alive.
  • The princess knew behind which door was what. She informed her lover which door he should go to. He trusted her so he walked to the right door, where the princess motioned towards.
  • The audience are on the edge of their seat, filled with anxiety of what the young man was fated to be, eaten by a tiger, or marry the finest lady in the kingdom. He opened the door and in the blink of an eye, a tiger jumped out and attacked him. The princess couldn't bare to see him marry that girl, she has always been jealous of her. She would rather see her lover die.
