  • Where's Willy, man?
  • Walter already notices something wrong. He notices that Willy didn't come.

  • There ain't nothing wrong, is there?
  • Bobo seems frightened and that starts to worry Walter.
  • Could I please get a drink of water, before I tell you about it, Walter Lee?
  • I'm sorry, Walter... I had my life staked on this deal, too...
  • Bobo breaks the news to Walter that Willy ran off with the money he was supposed to use for the liquor store. Beneatha's college money was also in that stolen amount.
  • Son -- Son.. Is it gone? Son, gave you sixty-five hundred dollars. Is it gone? All of it? Beneatha's money too?
  • Mama beats Walter senseless in the face because Mr. Younger worked hard for that money and Walter's selfishness got it put into the wrong hands.
