  • Hello, my name is Susan and I am a scientist. Today I will be teaching you about the different classifications of plants. Come on, lets go!
  • Susan Franke
  • Let's start with the basics. When classifying plants there are only two main plant groups. These groups include vascular & nonvascular plants. Vascular plants have tubelike like tissues which transport water & nutrients throughout the plant. These plants grow very large and tall. Their body is divided into two parts: the root & shoot system. The root system consist of the roots & underground structures. The shoot system is made up of leaves, stems, & flowers.
