Napoleon Nitrogen starts out in the atmosphere as a lowly N^2 molecule and then is turned into Napoleon Ammonium by Biotic processes.
Napoleon loses his newfound power when he is broken down into ammonium once again by decomposers after his producer and consumer empire is defeated by ammonification.
Napoleon is then changed from Napoleon Ammonium to Nitrite then Nitrate through the process of nitrification.
Napolean then makes one last attempt for power through Assimilation.
Napoleon is then assimilated into producers and consumers through consumption. Nitrogen is often the limiting nutrient for producers in biomes.
Napoleon Nitrogen is finally defeated and put back into obscurity when he is cast out of rule into oxygen poor soil and stagnant water leading to him being turned back into nitrogen gas through denitrification by denitrifying bacteria.
