  • We must take the middle path, Antigone must live the rest of her days in solitude, but alive. This is the only acceptable solution
  • Then the blind prophet Tiresias arrives to meet with Creon.
  • "Only a fool is governed by self-will. Pay to dead his due."
  • Welcome father Tiresias, what advice do you have for me?

  • As Creon arrived to free Antigone he found a gruesome site his son lay dead from his own sword and Antigone hung from a rope of her own cloths.
