I woke up this morning and my hand was red and scaly. I think I might have eczema.
Tommy is on his way to the doctor to investigate more about his newly founded eczema.
Alright thanks doc. Have a good day.
So Tommy what are some of your symptoms?
Well doc my skin is red and itchy and it is starting to look a little scaly.
Also, you really have to be careful in taking care of your eczema so you do not develop asthma or hay fever.
Alright Tommy so it does look like you have a type of eczema called Atopic Dermatitis., but there are some treatment you can try.
I suggest you use hydrocortisone, it is an ointment that you use 1 to 4 times a day. You only need a litlle dab of it.
Some side effects of this medicine is acne, burning, change of skin color, and even wheezing. If wheezing occurs come see me.
How it works is, it fight the white bloods from going to the infected part of the skin. This helps decrease swelling and pain.
