The Three Fifths Compromise

We shall allow your southern state to have 3/5 of your slaves count to your population
The First Amendment
The First Amendment shall now allow equal religious rights and the freedom of speech and of the press
The Bill of Rights
We shall create a bill of rights for the people
This compromise was a debate over the representation involved with regional differences. The southern states wanted slaves to be included in there population count while the northern states wanted them to count towards taxes. In the end they decided to count 3/5's of the slaves to the population.
The First Amendment states that congress can not prohibit religion. Also every one is granted the freedom of speech and the press. So everyone is able to speak out against the government.
The Bill of Rights was a document that would all of the citizens rights stated on it. It had all of the 10 Amendments stated on it. Each amendment talked about the citizens rights.
