  • 70 years ago, on the 6th of August a nuclear bomb from USA pretty much wiped out all of Japan. japan tried to fight back but they didn't win do they decided to surrender.
  • Only a couple of countries have nuclear bombs. These countries include, Russia, USA, North Korea. UK, France, China, Pakistan, India and Israel. They have all came to an agreement to never use them in a war again.
  • The city has been rebuilt.
  • A book was made about a little girl named Sadako who survived the bombing at the age of 2. She was sent to hospital due to the radiation in the bomb. She died of cancer at the age of 12. She got told that if she made 1000 paper cranes a wish would come true.
  • The city is now back to being beautiful. now we hope for no more nuclear bombs around the world.
  • kids in many schools are now making paper cranes in respect for Sadako. Everyone finds it really said about what happened to her. Some of the cranes have been sent to japan to be displayed.
  • the city of Hiroshima has now been rebuilt and all of the debrief has been cleared from the city. There is still some buildings that are still a bit broken around the city but most of it is fixed.
