  • This story is about a girl named Melinda who is starting high school and every one seems to dislike her because of something we do not yet know

  • in this book the character is experiencing a lot of conflict. But the most of it is character vs character also known as internal conflict I believe this because she always is beating her self up missing school and not trying hard.

  • The rising action is were the conflict starts to get bigger 3 points in the story I read were this happen are first when we are introduced to the antagonist Andy evens who is called by the main character "it" second when the main charterer starts skipping School And see's "it" and runs away and the third is where we find out that Andy Evens raped her at a party and she called the police that arrested people there for under aged drinking and that's why people don't like her.
  • Resolution
  • The most dramatic part or climax of this story is were Andy Evens tries to rape her again in a janitor closet but she struggles and after a while gets a shard of glass to his neck and he backs away. this kind of theaches her that she should stand up for herself.
  • After the climax the main character starts to fix things in her life and move on. we don't really see Andy Evens any more and people start treating her better.

  • Finaly at the end of the book she's in art class her teacher is just going to post there grades she dose s good job on a sculpture and she gets an A and starts crying and tells the art teacher what happend
