Rising Action: The rising action began when the Raven came in, with such a mysterious way about him. The Raven, with no respect, barged in and sat upon bust of Pallas, and nothing more.
"Wretch, thy God has sent thee - by these angels he hath sent thee."
Climax: The climax is when he believes that God has sent the Raven to alleviate the pain of his loss of Lenore, but then retaliates by saying that the Raven is a prophet and a "thing of evil."
"Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken."
Falling Action: He keeps imploring to the Raven to inform him of Lenore, but to no avail as the only gets "nevermore" as his response. He becomes increasingly impatient and starts commanding the Raven to part ways.
Resolution: Despite him telling the Raven that they are now parting, the Raven remains sitting on the bust of Pallas, as if tormenting him for evermore.
