Juliet rejected her fathers plan, but didn't reveal her marriage to Romeo. She ran to Friar Laurence and together the formed a devious plot. As planned Juliet went home and agreed to marry Paris.
Before the wedding, Juliet took a drug, as to seem dead for 42 hours. So the wedding party became a funeral procession. Juliet lay in the family tomb where Romeo was meant to rescue her.
The Friar's letter to Romeo, informing him about the plan went astray, and Romeo was told of Juliet's sudden death. Romeo brought poison and went to the tomb, and took his own life, just before Juliet woke.
Juliet awoke to see a lifeless Romeo beside her. Juliet unable to imagine life without Romeo, drunk what was left of the poison.
Once the families of the Montagues and Capulets arrived, they were grief stricken. The death of their children was the death of their feud.
