  • Yellow box Pg 1071. "The goddess reveals his course to him and gives advice on how to avoid the danger..." Circe tells Odysseus about his journey.
  • Text Pg 1071 - 1072 Line 695 " Therefore you are to tie me up, tight as a splint..." Line 707 "I carved a massive cake of beeswax into bits and rolled them into my hands..." Odysseus rolls beeswax for his men to put in his ears and tells them his plan.
  • Pg. 1072 Line 715, " Soon, as we came smartly within hailing distance, the 2 Sirens, noting our fast ship off their point, made ready..." Odysseus and his men approach the Sirens
  • Pg 1072, Line 720 through 744. Here is where they sang their song to the men. (As shown in the picture.) The Sirens sing and Odysseus listens.
