Today we are going to learn how to hold and use scissors! First start off by finding a pair of scissors that fit your hand size!
Second, start off by putting your pointer finger and middle finger of your writing hand in the bottom and larger hole of the scissors. Next, put your thumb into the smaller hole of the scissors. You should have a total of three fingers in both of the grips combined, unless the pointer hole grip is too small for both fingers. In that case you should only have two total fingers.
Finally you are ready to use the scissors! Open the two points on the end by making the two grips go opposite ways from each other and then bring them back together to cut the paper or item at hand! Now you're ready to cut on your own!
