Storyboard Text

  • Hi, my friends of America! I'm James Madison. I am writing the Amendments for the Bill of Rights.
  • I am John Jay, let's begin with how criminals should be tried in a court of law.
  • I believe that  the defendant should have speedy and public trial.
  • I disagree with that statement! That is not fair!
  • I think they should be sentenced without a trial.
  • This is important. We need to make a decision about this!
  • I disagree, I think they deserve to tell their side of the story.
  • This is a very important matter. The only fair thing to do is make sure that the accused gets a fair trial.
  • It should be speedy and a panel of impartial persons should listen to the case.
  • It should also be heard in the state where the incident happened.
  • Yes, it shall be Amendment VI. Thank you.
