This storyboard does not have a description.
Anne entered the secret annexe through a bookcase. No one would suspect a thing. She had to sit still for hours until all the workers downstairs left. That would be a hard task for "Miss Quack Quack," no speaking and no moving would be a challenge, but Anne loves challenges and would try her best to keep still until the workers lunch break.
The Van Daans moved into the annexe and Mr.Dussel did later on. Anne heard stories of what was going on outside she couldn't bear it, she felt selfish just sitting there all day while her friends were slaves or dead. Kitty was there to get her through her nightmares and depressing thoughts about her friends.
Life in the annexe became rough not just for Anne but for everyone. Mr. and Mrs.Van Daan got into arguments everyday which Anne felt were funny and childish. Dussel and Anne got into fights too. She felt like he was taking over the desk where she could write to Kitty, Dussel disagreed so Otto stepped in to help. Anne can't stand Mrs.Van Daan, shes always telling her that shes too intelligent and should not know about the things that the adults are talking about.
