Recently Katie has been admitted to Harvard University. She looks forward to the new school year, but she forgets the pressure and stress of being in such an elite university.
Katie has been getting heaps of assignments, and is trying to study for many tests at once. As a result, she barely has any time to eat proper meals, or even get at least 7 hours of sleep a night.
As a result of her poor habits, as well as the massive amount of stress she is struggling to handle, Katie constantly gets headaches. She decides to visit a doctor to get some medical help.
The doctor suggests that Katie should take 30 mg of Codeine for her headache every 4 hours, and no more. He emphasizes to Katie to follow his instructions exactly.
It's okay. It's just a painkiller anyway...
Despite what the doctor tells her, Katie still takes more Codeine than the doctor's instructions. She thinks that by doing so, her headache will disappear quicker. She believes that because Codeine is a painkiller, it cannot be abused, and overdosing isn't a big deal.
