Prince Theseus, the prince of Athens, begged his father to be one of the 7 boys. The king denied until Theseus claimed to kill the Minotaur.
Fine, I will allow you to go but only if everyone comes back alive!
Let me be one of the 7 boys! I want to kill the Minotaur so the children won't be eaten!
Prince Theseus and the other 6 boys and 7 girls were ready to depart. All the kids were scared while Prince Theseus was determined.
Prince Theseus received a letter from the princess. She said that she will help him kill the Minotaur.
I am the princess of this island. I will help you kill the Minotaur if you let me come back with you. I want to leave this island.
The princess gave him a sword and a ball of yarn. The yarn, to help him find his way out the maze.
Take the yarn to find your way back out the maze!
Prince Theseus finally found the Minotaur. He killed the terrifying beast and came out alive.
On the way back to Athens, Prince Theseus stopped for materials. The princess fell asleep near the shore and was left there by the crew. The other 6 boys and 7 girls returned home safely.
