Storyboard Text

  • "Romeo, the hate I bear thee can afford no better term than this, thou art a villain."
  • "I am hurt. A plague a’ both houses! I am sped. Is he gone and hath nothing?"
  • "Romeo, away, be gone! The citizens are up, and Tybalt slain. Stand not amazed, the Prince will doom thee death If thou art taken. Hence be gone, away!"
  • Benvolio, Romeo, and Mercutio all are in the street when Tybalt comes to fight and insult Romeo. Scene 1
  • "And for that offense, immediately we do exile him hence...Else, when he is found, that hour is his last."
  • Tybalt kills Mercutio when Mercutio tries to fight for Romeo. Scene 1
  • "Sir Paris, I will make a desperate tender of my child’s love. But what say you to Thursday?"
  • "My lord, I would that Thursday were tomorrow."
  • Romeo kills Tybalt for revenge of Mercutio and Benvolio tells Romeo to leave before everyone sees what he has done. Scene 1
  • "Good father, I beseech you on my knees, Hear me with patience but to speak a word."
  • "Out, you green-sickness carrion! Out, you baggage! You tallow-face!"
  • The Prince comes and sees what happened. He asks Benvolio to explain and then exiles Romeo for his crime, but says if Romeo returns that they will have him killed. Scene 1
  • Capulet decides that Juliet will marry Paris on Thursday. Scene 4
  • Capulet threatens Juliet many times because she won't marry Paris, but her parents don't know that she is already married. Scene 5
