Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton often disagreed on many issues, including tariffs and national banks.
When the French Revolution started, Thomas said that they should help them, while Hamilton and Washington disagreed. Because of this, Thomas walked out.
Thomas and Hamilton's rivalry eventually led to 2 different political parties, the Federalists and Republicans.
