And today, we have more seat work!
No! Not again!
Ahh!! What is happening?!
Where am I? Where are my students?!
Allow me to introduce myself, I am Larry the learning leprechaun!
What did you do to me? Why did you bring me here?
You were killing your students with seat work! I needed to step in and teach you a few lessons!
What do you mean? I was doing the same thing teachers have been doing for years!
TEACHERS! Let your students learn in social contexts! Put your students in groups of 4 to 7 - including ELLs and students with disabilities, provide them with critical thinking questions, and see how much your students enjoy learning as they work together to understand!
That is exactly it! Things are changing! Students should not be sitting around doing seat work! They need to be learning cooperatively!
