  • Why didn't you go to school today?
  • Hollis blames herself for about everything . one of the things she blamed herself was for the truck getting crashed. In this picture hollis and the old manwere arguing over who crashed the truck
  • Hollis vs. Trusting People
  • I wonder if I will ever find a good family to stay with
  • Josie forgets practically everything now she forgets to bring Hollis to school and at the end of the book Hollis moves back to the Regans and Hollis sometimes visits Josie, and Josie doesn't even remember Hollis, but she still loves her.
  • Steven vs. The Old Man
  • Hollis does not like the Mustard lady at all,Hollis really like any of the people that work for the agency that the Mustard lady works for. Now Hollis is even talking back and and lying to the Mustard Lady.
  • We had a holiday.
  • Hollis does not trust very many people. when she is at a foster home and she doesn't trust the people who live there she will just run away. Steve is the first person she really trusted, then she started to trust Izzy, and the old man.
  • The old man and steven allways fight and hollis thinks this is all of her fault. This ptoblem causes hollis to run away. hollis also ran away because she thought if she did this steven and the old man would not fight anymore.
