British lead by Colonel Banastre Tarleton The Colonists lead by Brigadier General Daniel Morgan came to fight The Battle of Cowpens.
This took place on January 17th, 1781 in Cherokee, South Carolina. War broke out. The British left with 110 were dead, around 200 were wounded, and more than 500 were taken as prisoners. The Colonists lost 12 men, and around 60 were wounded
British lost control over South Carolina and the Colonists gained hope for the future. They later moved north which lead to the Battle of Yorktown which was the last and final battle of the American Revolution.
