This storyboard does not have a description.
In a metal pot, when water is boiling that is a change of state. You may notice that the water level is slowly decreasing. That is so because some of the water is turning into a gas.
Can you see the ice on the table. This ice is melting. Melting is a change of state from a solid to a liquid. Some solids also have a melting point. A melting point is the temperature that something melts at. At a solid's melting point, its particles vibrate so fast that they break free of fixed positions.
This ice behind me is frozen. Freezing is the change in state which a liquid goes to a solid. At a liquid's freezing point, its particles are moving so slow that they begin to take on fixed positions.
The change in state from a liquid to a gas is called vaporization. Evaporation and boiling are two types of vaporization. Evaporation takes place at the surface of a liquid while boiling takes place both under the surface and on the surface.
