  • Melody couldn't express to her parents that it wasn't there fault that she was born with Synesthesia. She felt extremely bad because they thought that they were at fault and that they did something wrong.
  • I was born with a disability known as Synesthesia.
  • Melody's disability prevented her from walking. this scene shows that melody had to be pushed around in a wheel chair which made it extremely hard for her to do anything.
  • My arms and legs are stiff so I cannot walk.
  • Melody misses out in a lot of oppertunities in school and at home because she lacks in the biggest thing of all, communication. Melody feel sad when she can't interact with the other kids because she can't talk.
  • I really wish I were like normal kids that can talk and express my feelings.
  • Mrs. V, a kind and sweet lady offered to take care of Melody while her parents were at work. During the time she watched melody, she developed a communication board and eventually ordered a Medi-Talker.
  • Now Melody, lets implement vocab words into your communication board to help you be able to talk again.
  • Ms. V tries her hardest to help me be able to talk again.
  • The school that Melody attended started a program called incution classes. This classes allowed the disabled kids to interact with able bodied kids. It is here were Melody makes her first true friend, Rose.
  • My best freind rose always helps me during hard times.
  • When Mrs. V purchased the Medi-Talker, she was able to communicate with her friends. She was able to participate in the whiz kids championship because the Medi-Talker allowed her to communicate.
  • My new Medi-Talker made it possible for me to participate in the Whiz-Kids Chapionship.
