Theories of Development

Bettelheim was heavily influenced by Sigmund Freud’s theory of the Id,Ego, and Superego, his theory focused on the impact of experiences that occurduring childhood on the learner’s overall cognitive development.
All of this noise and all of these people are really making me anxious. I need to find a quiet space to calm my body and mind.
Alder focused on the human need to feel accepted and important by those with who are in their regular environment. Alder believed that behaviours are significantly impacted by how much encouragement, support, and respect one receives and can correspondingly be controlled. Also believed humans need to be regarded and treated as unique individuals, especially when reflecting back on childhood experiences
I really wish those girls would let me play with them. I feel so left out.
