- Prince Siddhartha is surrounded by wealth and pleasure. Siddhartha is sitting next to all his gold and his material possessions.

- Siddhartha goes on 4 chariot rides and sees several forms of human suffering. He sees old age, disease, death and grief when he goes on the chariot rides.
- Siddhatha leaves behind everything including his family so that he can learn the teachings of ending suffering. He leaves behind his wealth and money so that he can end suffering.
- Siddhartha mediates under a tree for 40-49 days and achieves nirvana(enlightment). This caused him to became a buddha and he started buddhism.
