- Macbeth meets the witches in a cavern. The witches conjure three apparition for Macbeth. The first tells him to fear Macduff. The second tells him no one born from woman will ever harm him. The third apparition tells him Macbeth will never be defeated until Birnam Wood comes to Dunsinane Hill. The witches disappear and Lennox enters. He informs Macbeth that Macduff has fled to England. A furious Macbeth decides he will kill Macduff' s family.
- Macbeth meets the witches in a cavern. The witches condur three apperations for Macbeth. The first tells him to fear Macduff. The second tells him no one born from woman will ever harm him. The third apperation tells him macbeth will never be defeated until Brinam Wood comes to Dunsinne Hill. The witches disappere and Lennox enters. He informs Macbeth that Macduff has fled to England.
- Macbeth! Macbeth! Beware Macduff. Beware the thane of Fife!
- Lady Macduff is saddened by the leaving of her husband. Ross tires to tell her it is for good reason, but she does not believe him. Ross leaves and Macduff' s son enters. Suddenly a murder appears. Young Macduff is slain, and eventually Lady Macduff is killed.
- Murder! Murder!!!
- Malcom and Macduff meet to discus the future of Scotland. Malcom decides to test Macduff' s loyalty to see if he is a good asset. Macduff finally snaps as Malcom spews vile words. Malcom agrees to work with Macduff.
- Were I king, I should cut off the nobles for their lands, desire his jewels and this other's house!
- Fit to govern?! No, not to live!
- The lords discuss the events. The people of Scotland are sick of Macbeth. The lords decide that they are going to try to win back Scotland.The king of England has given them an army and a leader Siward. Ross breaks the news of Macduff's family to him. Macduff is enraged over the death of his family. The men prepare to take Scotland!
- Act Five
- A gentlewoman and a doctor are in Lady Macbeth' s bed chambers. The gentlewoman is talking about how Lady Macbeth is sleepwalking. She talks about guilt and blood on her hands. All the water in the world can not carry away all the blood. The gentlewoman and the doctor decide to never repeat what they heard.
- Out, damned spot! Out I say!
