- Jimmy's plastic bottle has arrived at a gyre where the currents move in a circular motion.
- Many fish and other biotic factors (living things) live near these gyres, so they come in contact with the plastics that are here
- Over time, the plastic will make fish feel full, when they really aren't, so they starve.
- Sometimes fish will eat these pieces of plastic, and unfortunately the plastics kill them over time.
- Jimmy Really should have used a reusable water bottle because that bottle wouldn't have harmed anyone.
