There's a man following me. HE KNOWS WHERE I LIVE!
That's Criminal Harassment or more commonly known as stalking
Is he doing this intentionally? or could it just be a coincidence?
No! hes waiting outside my house and following me when i leave
That is valid Mens Rea he's guilty!
You have been harassing this woman
She felt unsafe and threatened which constitutes actus rea
And you had the intent to do this act which constitutes mens rea
Criminal harassment is a hybrid offence so it can be either a summary or indictable offence
The maximum sentance is 10 years in prison in extreme cases
