  • Hyperglobalists (Global Optimist)Hyperglobalists believe that globalisation is the next era for humans. The globalisation that the optimists are expecting involves denationalising economies and a declining relevance and authority of Governments in relation to Markets. Hyperglobalists also believe that there will soon be no political borders and the world will operate as if there was one government.
  • ScepticsSceptics believe that globalisation, or at least the version presented by Hyperglobalists, is not a good path for the world to choose moving forward. They believe that with corporate companies having more control over the market, there will be more manipulation. A famous sceptic, Ralph Dahrendorf, believes that globalisation poses a threat to the social unity of society.
  • TransformationalistsTransformationalists believe that globalisation is a two way exchange, western culture is also influenced as a pose to western culture just leaking into the east.
