Rats that carried the plague came onto trade ships.
The rats got off the ship and carried the plague to Europe.
The first deaths of the Black Death began to take place.
People ran to try and escape the plague but they spread it further.
The Black Death killed millions of people before it ended.
When the plague ended the manor system fell apart leading to the growth of cities.
