Dear Narrator, I ask you my dearest friend to come and visit me in this house. It is wretched, ripping and decaying my mental stability to shreds. My old friend, could you please come and help me from this madness?

Ever since we've placed her in the vault down there..I keep hearing these strange noises. I feel as though they are her..I feel as if. ..We've buried her alive.
This must be the place..
Me and My twin sister Madeline...we're the only ones left in our bloodline. That might not stand for long though. The house feels like it is going to kill me any second... And Madeline suffers with catalepsy...Arts are my escape from this place.
As the narrator read Roderick a book to calm him, they heard the noises from before. Roderick then begins to rock back and forth in his chair. The door flies open and Madeline comes forth. Covered in blood and cuts. She leaps onto Roderick, causing both the Ushers to die. Roderick most likely dying from shock and fear that his sister and the house had put on him. The narrator flees the house.
The narrator watches the house. He sees it collapse and disappear into the fog and waters. Eventually, the house is gone.
