  • To Stay healthy, it is important to manage your stress. M1 Lesson 7 says, Be open minded. Take responsibility for your actions. Focus on your strengths and learn to recognize your limitations. These are strategies that help you manage your stress.

  • Goals are also very important for health. It is important that they are SMART Goals. Each letter of SMART stands for something. M2 Lesson 3 says, Specific: does it target a specific area of improvement? Measurable: How are you measuring your success? Achievable: Is it reachable? Realistic: Is it realistic to achieve? Time Related: When would you achieve it by? SMART Goals can help you improve your health.
  • It is important to exercise, but it is also important to do it safely. Warming up makes it less likely for you to injure yourself while exercising. M3 Lesson 5 says, Prior to starting any activity, always warm up. The warm up should include stretching of the muscles that will be used during the workout, as well as performing 6 to 12 minutes of slow jogging or cycling. If you warm up, you will improve your health.

  • It is important to get good treatment when you are injured. M5 Lesson 5 says, Failure to identify and properly treat injuries can often lead to more serious injuries, requiring doctors visits and sometimes even surgery. If you are injured, make sure that you treat it correctly.

  • To eat in a healthy way, it is important to eat a combination of food to the nutrients that you need. M7 Lesson 1 says, No one food contains all of the nutrients necessary for a healthy lifestyle. Good nutrition requires that the proper balance and quantities of essential nutrients are obtained from a variety of food combinations. It is important to eat a combination of healthy foods to get the nutritionthat you need.
