- Haha, Anne. Not funny. Luckily, my parents aren't at home right now. I feel like Rapunzel in her tranquil tower.
- Amanda!! It's been so long. How have you been? Cleaned up your room yet?
- My frustration is ineffable. My parents nag at me all day long. "Amanda! do this... do that". I can't even answer back.
- You should really try maintaining a diary. You can unburden yourself without being interrupted. I'm speaking from experience here.
- That is a splendid idea! I will certainly try that out. Tell you what, I'm going to write a poem about them.
- Oh wow! If you want help writing the poem, you can ask me. I wrote a poem to Mr. Keesing, and ever since that day, I've been allowed to talk in class.

- Shockingly, no.I think I might've really convinced him into letting me talk. After all, talking isn't something I can control, I've inherited it from my mother. Don't blame me.

- They might come off as a little harsh, but at the end of the day, they're concerned about your welfare. You should try reasoning with them and coming up with a mutual compromise.
