Romulus and Remus were thrown in the river after uncle Amulius found out that Rhea Silvia had twins. Even though she wasn't supposed to have kids and they think the father was the god of Mars. Uncle Amulius got scared because he didn't want Romulus and Remus to challenge him to the throne.
After Romulus and Remus got thrown in the river a she wolf found them. She took care of them as if they were one of her own and feed them she also protected them. Later on one shepherd named Faustulus found the babies and took them to his wife Laerntia.
Laerntia feed them and raised them to be a shepherd. The boys grew up healthy and strong . Romulus and Remus had a band of loyal followers. They would give the local shepherds the goods they had stolen from criminals.
Romulus and Remus were attacked by robbers, and Remus was taken to the king . Amulius, the king died. Numitor were handed the crown once more. They did not want to wait, the borhters. They wanted to build their own city close to where she wolf had noticed them.
Romulus and Remus each had a different interest for the location of the city. Romulus preferred the palantine Hill, while Remus preferred the Aventine Hill. Both of them argued that they area they had chosen was best.
Romulus killed his sibling. Romulus created a government and founded his city, Roma (modern-day Rome). At the conclusion of his life, a divine cloud carried Romulus to heaven, where he was at forever.
